Caring for Your Candles
Candle Care
Before You Burn
Trim the wick
Always trim the wick to approximately 5mm before lighting. This helps create a clean, even flame and prevents smoking.
Place on a stable surface
Ensure your candle is placed on a heat-resistant, flat surface away from drafts, flammable objects, and direct sunlight.
Remove packaging
Remove all decorative packaging, ribbons, or labels before lighting unless clearly stated as heat-safe.
During Burning
First burn matters
Allow the candle to burn long enough on the first use so the wax melts evenly across the surface. This helps prevent tunnelling.
Burn time
Do not burn your candle for more than 2–3 hours at a time. Extinguish, allow to cool, then relight if desired.
Keep the flame steady
If the flame becomes too large or flickers excessively, extinguish the candle, trim the wick, and relight once cooled.
Never leave unattended
Always stay present while your candle is burning and keep out of reach of children and pets.

Candle Safety Tips
Keep candles away from curtains, bedding, and soft furnishings
Never burn near open windows or air vents
Do not move a candle while it is lit or while the wax is hot
Discontinue use when approximately 10mm of wax remains
Candle Bouquet Care
Our signature candle bouquets are designed primarily as decorative pieces and keepsakes.
Candles should be removed from the arrangement before lighting
Decorative elements are not heat-safe
Never light candles while they are inside the bouquet or packaging
These arrangements are perfect as gifts, centrepieces, or display items and should be handled with care.
